Berlin Wall

Berlin Wall.
This project consists in the “construction” of a wall which is aimed to recreate the original Berlin Wall.
For its realisation, both in the high school and in the main street of the village, a group of panels will be set in order to create a barrier which would block a neuralgic point of the place creating a separation between the two resultant sides. These panels will have been previously recovered with paper simulating a real wall. They will finally look as a real wall in which some sentences, messages and relevant information will be drawn.
The main reason for which this wall is going to be set, is to show everone the effect that something similar to the Berlin Wall had and could have on people’s lives. This wall is a symbol of the division of equals and means the break of a nation.
Therefore, its fall symbolizes the return of the freedom, the break of the barriers and the union of the people.
So, taking all this into our context, its realization will divide both, the school and the main street, for a while, causing a sensation of disruption and chaos that will disappear by the moment the wall is over.

And here's how it was!
